Hello gentle Reader.

Some exciting news! Yes – it’s official! As of yesterday, I’ve signed up to participate in National Novel Writing Month, which commences November 1, 2005.

You may have noticed the badge at the top of the main menu on the side…? No…? OK, well here it is again: -

Am very excited, but admittedly a little anxious, too. But I think once November 1 finally arrives and we’re able to set pen to paper (so to speak), then it’ll all be good.

It has been a little frustrating not being able to write anything down in preparation of this event. I’ve had some terrific ideas and little ‘scenes’ play out in my head (well, they seemed good to me at the time), and have been endeavoring to commit it all to memory. But knowing my less-than-salubrious cortex, I shall probably wake up on November 1 with a great gaping black maw where one’s brain ought to be… *sigh* .

Oh well... it’s all in the name of fun, and am not planning on taking it too seriously. But I do hope that you (and many others) will join me on this little adventure, because this will be the site where you can tune in and catch each installment of It’s All Lies: A True Story, the online Whodunnit-blogel… Well, it will be when someone dies…
